Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi - Departure to Amboseli National Park
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our driver will receive and welcome you to Kenya. Drive immediately to Amboseli National Park. Enjoy the beautiful landscape along the way as you drive through the floor of the Rift Valley. Amboseli National Park is located on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. The park is widely known for being home to herds of The African Elephant. The snow at the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro provides water to the springs in Amboseli National Park, which the animals at the park use to quench thirst.
Lunch will be served on arrival. You can choose to go for an afternoon game drive or relax for the entire afternoon.

Day 2: Explore Amboseli National Park
Wake up for an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. This hour is perfect in that the ice-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro is clearly visible and animals are out in the open grazing before the sun gets hot. Enjoy the scenic view of the vegetation as you make your way across the Amboseli Plains. You will spot animals like buffalos, hyenas, zebras, cheetahs, and wildebeests. The famous Maasai tribe is widely populated in this region and you will have the pleasure of interacting with them. Learn more about their culture as well as enjoy their traditional dances and songs.

Day 3: Departure to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you leave for Tanzania. Your first destination will be Lake Manyara, National Park. Drive to the Kenya-Tanzania border, Namanga, where you will board another safari vehicle that will drive you to Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive in Arusha, the capital city of Tanzania where lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Resume your journey and arrive at the park in time for dinner.

Day 4: Departure to Ngoro Ngoro Crater
After an early breakfast, embark on an early game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy the cool morning breeze as well as the scenic landscape comprising of grasslands, mahogany trees, and tropical forests. At this hour the animals are out grazing in the open. They include antelopes, buffaloes, zebras, elephants, monkeys, Manyara lions, hippos, and giraffes. Lake Manyara National Park is also rich in birdlife. Some of the bird species you will spot include pelicans, hornbills, and flamingos among others.
Arrive at Ngoro Ngoro Crater and drive to the crater rim before making your way to the camp in time for lunch. Relax for the rest of the afternoon.

Day 5: Ngoro Ngoro Crater/Serengeti National Park
Wake up and early in the morning and received packed picnic breakfast before proceeding to Ngoro Ngoro Crater. The Crater named one of the Wonders of the World is among the largest volcanic craters in the world. It is home to over 25,000 animals like the black rhino, Thomson’s gazelle, the Cape buffalo, Maasai lions among others and bird species like flamingos etc. Ngoro Ngoro Crater is 20 Kilometres wide and has a depth of between 610 – 760 Meters. Vegetation in the crater comprises of forests and grasslands. Other features found in the crater are swamps, saltpans and a fresh water lake, which attracts vast birdlife.
In the evening, make your way to Serengeti National Park and retire to your designated camp.

Day 6: Explore Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, leave for a full day fun-filled and exciting game drive in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is among the most famous parks in Africa and the most famous in Tanzania. It is here that the wildebeest migration begins. Millions of wildebeests and zebras leave Serengeti between July and October and cross over the Mara River into Maasai Mara in Kenya. Later, the wildebeest cross back into the Serengeti at the end of the year and the calving season begins in January. It is quite a spectacle watching thousands of wildebeests giving birth in the wild.
Other animals to see in this park include zebras, monkeys, rhinos, lions, giraffes, and hippos among others. Retire to your camp for the night.

Day 7: Departure to Maasai Mara National Reserve
This day you leave Tanzania and your Kenya safari begins. After breakfast, you will receive packed picnic lunch, which you will enjoy en route to Maasai Mara. Make your way into Kenya through the Isebania border where you will exchange vehicles. Maasai Mara is famous for the wildebeest migration, one of the Wonders of the World. It is here that the Great Migration happens each year. Millions of wildebeests and zebras migrate from Serengeti in Tanzania into Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve in search of greener pastures. These animals cross the crocodile-packed Mara River; most make it across while the unfortunate ones are feasted on by the hungry crocodiles. The wildebeest migration takes place in July through to October.
Arrive late in the afternoon and retire to your designated Camp.

Day 8: Explore Maasai Mara National Reserve
Spend these two days exploring Maasai Mara. The Mara is home to thousands of animals including the big five. Enjoy early morning and full day game drives during which you will spot animals like elephants, antelopes, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, Maasai giraffe, impalas, gazelles, lions and many others. There are over 500 bird species in the Mara, which makes it a great spot for bird watching.
Other activities in Maasai Mara National Reserve include hot-air balloon safari, sight viewing, Maasai village safari, and game walks among others.
Return to your designated camp in the evening for an overnight.

Day 10: Explore Lake Nakuru National Park Drive To Nairobi.

Besides birds, it is possible to see small game, like Water Buck, Impala, Rhino and Buffalo in the gardens surrounding. After lunch departs for Nairobi arriving early evening you will be transferred to the airport where you will take a flight back home, as you close the budget safari with great memories.
